Welcome to our website, where you will find much information on who we are and what we do.
The research programme of the group is focused on the determination of novel DNA and RNA structures by X-ray crystallography and molecular modelling methods, and the exploitation of these structures for drug discovery. Current interests include:
- Quadruplex nucleic acid structures and their selective recognition by small molecules.
- Telomere structure and recognition
- DNA-targeted anti-infective agents
- Synthesis and chemical biology of novel quadruplex-targeted agents
